Your skills.
Real work.
Crimson brings the jobs to you — in your trade and your area. Getting started is completely free.
You don't need a company.
Just your skills.
Any independent contractor with the proper licensing and credentials can sign up and start working on Crimson, on your own terms.
Two ways to win work
Respond to job-board listings that match your trade and area, and get found by customers browsing the marketplace. Both, working for you at once.
Message openly or privately
Talk on a listing in the open, or message any customer directly. When someone picks you, the chat continues one-to-one — and who won a job is always private, so other pros never see who landed it.
You choose the jobs
Set the trades you cover, the area you'll travel, and the jobs you take. Accept what fits, skip what doesn't.
Free to join.
Never pay for leads.
Other platforms charge you just to see or respond to a job. Crimson doesn't. You reach out because you want the work — that's it. When a job locks in, the listing closes, so you're never chasing something that's already taken.
Listings that respect your time.
Every job on the board spells out the trade, the problem, timing and budget — often with photos. You know exactly what you're walking into before you respond. No vague leads, no wasted trips.

No wasted trips. Ever.
Paid in full before you go
The customer pays for the job in full before you're ever dispatched. Payment is collected first — up front, every time, no exceptions. You never head out wondering if you'll get paid, and there's zero risk of a no-show or non-payment. Working hourly? Your hourly rate is locked in before you start, the funds are secured up front, and the exact total is calculated to the minute and charged automatically the moment you both mark the job complete.
On your way, on the map
Once you accept a job and set off, the customer can track your location in real time — just like following a delivery. Fewer "where are you?" calls, fewer missed connections, and a smoother arrival every time.
A wasted trip still pays
If a customer cancels once you're on the way or on-site — or the job turns out unfixable or needs a different pro — you still get a flat $30 for showing up. We waive our fee on cancellations, so every cent of that $30 is yours.
Re-quote on the spot
Job bigger or different than the listing? Send a new quote right in the app. The moment the customer approves, you carry on — no awkward renegotiation, and never working for free.
You do the work.
You get paid. Guaranteed.
In the trades, finishing a job and then chasing — or never seeing — your money is far too common. On Crimson that can't happen. Your rate is agreed and locked in before you're dispatched — fixed or hourly — and enforced for the entire job. Payment is secured up front the moment you're booked, so completed work is never left unpaid. And if anyone ever tries to dispute a paid job outside Crimson — straight to their bank — we defend it in full, on your side, every time. Protecting pros and guaranteeing payment is the single thing we care about most.
How an hourly job pays out
- You and the customer lock in $60/hour, an estimate of about 3 hours and a 4-hour cap. The funds are secured before you're dispatched.
- You both check in on-site — the clock starts.
- You step out for a part; you both tap pause, then resume when you're back. Breaks and parts runs only pause when you both confirm.
- You both mark the job complete. Time worked: 2 hours 42 minutes.
- 2.7 hours × $60 = $162, calculated to the minute and paid out to you automatically — every cent. The customer also pays Crimson's 8% service fee ($12.96) on top; it never touches your pay.
Full in-house logistics. Everything tracked.
